Quick Couplings
American Hose is an authorized Parker Master Stocking Distributor of the complete line of hose, hose fittings and hose accessories, including quick couplings. A full array of Parker quick couplings is stocked at American Hose, ready for pickup or immediate shipment and delivery. The Parker quick coupling line includes:

Pneumatic Quick Couplings

Hydraulic Quick Couplings

Thermoplastic Couplings

Swivels

Check Valves

Diagnostic Products (SensoControl®)
Parker single shut-off couplings are used for pneumatic applications, such as connecting to compressed air supplies, air hoses and air tools. Quick couplings of this type can be used with a variety of gases; the E-Z Mate Series can be used with low-pressure liquids and fluids. Parker single shut off couplings are available from American Hose in three
types - push-to-connect general purpose, manual connect general purpose, and special purpose. The standard seal material for single shut off couplings from Parker is nitrile; however, neoprene, fluorocarbon and ethylene propylene are optional seal materials. The manual connect pneumatic couplings include the 10 Series, 20 Series, 50 Series and 70 Series of couplers and nipples. The push-to-connect lines are the RF Series, Tool-Mate Series, HF Series, HF Heavy Duty Series, the HA Series, Universal Couplers, 30 Series, and Twist-Lock Couplings. The special purpose line of pneumatic couplings includes the standard non-marring composite series, the exhaust non-marring composite series, and steel exhaust series. Pneumatic coupling accessories such as full pressure blow guns, controlled pressure blow guns, and two-way valves are also available.

Parker hydraulic couplings are designed to meet and exceed the particular applications that they are used in. Hydraulic couplings are classified in two categories, straight through or double shutoff. Double shutoff hydraulic couplings are used when an important factor is to limit fluid loss when the coupling is disconnected. Both sections of the hydraulic coupler - the nipple and the body - contain shutoff valves. The shutoff valves open automatically when the two sections are connected, and close when disconnected - both operations result in a minimum amount of fluid loss. Double shutoff hydraulic couplings are used in steam, water, chemical, and select gas applications. The Parker straight through hydraulic coupling line is perfect for applications requiring maximum flow. No valves are built into either section; flow must be turned off before disconnecting the coupling. Parker hydraulic couplings have pressure ratings ranging from 30 psi to 15,000 psi. Parker hydraulic coupling lines available from American Hose include general purpose couplings, non-spill couplings, connect-under-pressure couplings, high pressure couplings, mold coolant line couplings, high flow couplings, miniature special purpose couplings, dust plugs and dust caps.

American Hose also carries the complete line of Parker thermoplastic couplings, including the Spectrum Series and the PF Series. The Parker Spectrum Series thermoplastic couplings are an alternative to stainless steel couplings, and can be used in a wide range of industries such as food processing, semiconductor, automation equipment and chemical processing applications. Spectrum Series thermoplastic couplings feature high flow capacity, compact size, outstanding chemical compatibility, high flow capability, adaptable modular design, optional panel mounting, and simple push-to-connect operation. The Parker PF Series dry disconnect thermoplastic couplings available from American Hose virtually prevent any fluid loss when disconnected and are ideal for the delivery of fluids and chemicals with little or no spillage, and meet the requirements for closed system transfer. Applications for the Parker PF Series of thermoplastic couplings include spray application equipment, bulk transfer drums and barrels, chemical dispensing systems, and bulk storage tanks. The Parker PF Series thermoplastic couplings are used in equipment and systems handling chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, diluted industrial chemicals, herbicides, and fungicides. Features of the Parker PF Series thermoplastic housing are flush face valves that minimize fluid loss and are easily cleaned; a PTFE coated fluorocarbon tank gasket that is compatible with a wide range of chemicals; one inch coupler with non-wetted springs; strong glass-filled polypropylene configuration, resulting in cost-savings in terms of construction and excellent chemical compatibility.

American Hose stocks the Parker PS Series and S Series line of quick coupling swivels. The Parker PS Series swivels feature pressure capabilities of up to 5,000 psi, nickel or Chromium-6 free plating, come in a range of body sizes from 1/4" to 2", and in a range of seal options. Swivels are available in in-line or 90° configurations. The Parker S Series swivels include a pressure-balanced design, which does not exhibit a marked increase in torque as pressure increases. Features of the Parker S Series swivels include compact design, handle working pressures up to 3,000 psi, case hardened for extended service life, dust seals, 360° swivel that eliminates the need for hose stress and twist (as well as long radius bends). Repair kits are available for Parker PS Series and S Series swivels. Quick coupling swivels are used in many industrial and commercial applications, such as:
      Hose Reels      Sanitation Trucks
      Steel Mills      Pressure Washers
      Palletizers      Injection Molding          Equipment
      Logging Machinery      Flight Simulators
      Car Washes      Utility Equipment
Pulp and Paper          Machinery      Machine Tools

Parker check valves available from American Hose are offered in many configurations, including a wide range of flow capacities, sizes, crack pressures and pressure ratings. Check valves are offered in the DT Series and CV Series; both check valve lines are unidirectional flow control units that are used in hydraulic equipment and systems to prevent costly damage due to fluid back pressure. The Parker DT Series of check valves are available in sizes ranging from 1/4" to 1 and 1/4", in six different fitting configurations, and with a maximum operating pressure of 5,000 psi. The Parker CV Series of check valves incorporate a two-piece modular design, allowing for more end configurations; the larger body of the CV Series of check valves delivers increased performance and less pressure drop. Available in pressure ratings up to 3,000 psi, sizes from 1/4" to 1", and with flow capacities of 100 gallons per minute (GPM), the Parker CV Series of check valves are used in a wide range of hydraulic systems applications.

Along with pneumatic quick couplings, hydraulic quick couplings, thermoplastic couplings, swivels, and check valves, American Hose carries the entire range of Parker diagnostic products, including the SensoControl® line of diagnostic equipment. Digital monitoring equipment offered by American Hose includes the SensoControl® Serviceman™ and the SensoControl® Service Master. Other diagnostic accessories available are pressure transducers, flow sensors and test meter kits. Parker diagnostic equipment allows the user to take measurements of a hydraulic or pneumatic system with a single push of a button, and can quickly identify hard-to-find peaks and variations in temperature, pressure and flow of a system. American Hose also stocks the complete array of Parker Test Port Couplings, including the PD Series, the PDP Series, the EMA3 Series, the PDFS Series, and transducer adapters. When installed as test ports in various key components such as pumps, cylinders, filters, valves, and accumulators, these diagnostic quick couplings and nipples allow for quick access to test and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
